Were completed filming the first season of Daredevil, the series Marvel / Netflix dedicated to the famous superhero of Hell's Kitchen: showrunner Steven S. DeKnight announced it with a tweet.
The last few weeks have been rather rich new series for Marvel / Netflix, and recently we learned that Mike Colter will play Luke Cage, and Krysten Ritter was cast in the role of Jessica Jones.
The first of the series, however, will be Daredevil, which should debut on Netflix next May (but it is not yet certain). The showrunner Steven S. Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin will instead have the features of Vincent D'Onofrio, while Rosario Dawson will Claire Temple, night nurse who works in Hell's Kitchen. The cast also Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley aka the Owl), Vondie Curtis-Hall (Ben Urich, Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa, wife of Wilson Fisk) and Toby Moore (Wesley, personal assistant Fisk). Drew Goddard was replaced Steven S. DeKnight in the role of showrunner, but remained as executive producer of the series, and is the author of the screenplays for the first two episodes.
