A closer look at the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The Millenium Falcon appears behind the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, in two new pictures published by Fortune ...

In a very long special of Fortune magazine devoted to the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, has been inserted an image in which we see the CEO pose in front of the Millenium Falcon.

In reality this is a photo created specifically by the Industrial Light & Magic for Fortune, which were put together two photos, one of Iger taken by Wesley Mann in New York, and one of the Falcon while he was at Pinewood Studios, in Buckinghamshire.

This is the first official image of the 'new' Falcon that will appear in the movie Star Wars: The awakening of the Force.

But here we see the Falcon, almost in its entirety, on the cover of the magazine.

Star Wars: The Awakening of the Force will arrive in theaters December 18, 2015 and in Italy on 5 January 2016. Very few official details about the plot: when we have confirmation that the film will be set set 30 years after the events of Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

The cast will find a group of "new faces" to the saga (John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow), Lupita Nyong'o, most of the historical characters such as Harrison Ford (Han only), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (D-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (C1P8) and Carrie Fisher (Leia).
