Matthew Vaughn wants to achieve is the prequel of Hit-Girl is Kick Ass 3

The rumored spin-off of Hit-Girl is a prequel, and Matthew Vaughn would produce it to regain the trust of the fans. Later, it could convince Chloe Moretz and Aaron Johnson in return for Kick-Ass 3 ...

Recently, we discovered that Gareth Evans (The Raid) would be interested in directing a spin-off of Hit-Girl, the character played by Chloe Grace Moretz in Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2, but the young actress claims to have closed with this role.

Now, however, the producer Matthew Vaughn (who directed the first chapter) declares that the film of Hit-Girl will be a prequel, and could serve to convince Chloe Moretz and Aaron Taylor-Johnson coming back for the future Kick-Ass 3, which would close the saga.

We just finished writing the story [of the prequel of Hit-Girl]. What we need to do is the equivalent of First Class [X-Men: First Class, ed] in the world of Kick-Ass. We lost some fans with Kick-Ass 2. It was not appreciated as it was hoped. So we have this idea for a prequel about Hit Girl. It is a prequel very strong, very simple, which I think can afford to recover the love and passion. If we could do it, I'm pretty sure I can persuade Aaron and Chloe to come back to finish the story with Kick-Ass Kick-Ass 3.

Vaughn is not going to direct the prequel, and is looking for a "very brave and intelligent director." The story will be set in the Far East, and this could work in favor of Gareth Evans, who in the east (to be precise in Indonesia) has built his fortune. Of course, the star of the film will not be Chloe Grace Moretz (who today turned 18), but smaller than an actress. We will keep you updated.
