Stallone confirms the processing of Rambo 5 afterCreed

From Twitter actor communicates to fans that he is ready to turn the 5th installment in the legendary saga that sees the protagonist in the shoes of the former veteran of the Vietnam War. The making of the film will start after that of Creed.

Almost five years ago years ago Sylvester Stallone claimed to have closed with Rambo, so that the actor does not participate in the television series produced by Entertainment One and Nu Image's Avi Lerner. But then, last June, had rekindled hopes when it was rumored that instead Rambo V, now a project we considered dead and buried, it would be done. And it will.

Already in September this year Sly had confirmed the project and now, from Twitter, it does so for a second time, saying also that the making of the film will begin after Creed (which has just finished the screenplay) and before the gangster-movie based on criminal Greg Scarpa.

The franchise that was launched in 1982 with the original title Rambo: First Blood will therefore short his fifth and final chapter, named Rambo: Last Blood. In the film, then, not only Sly will again step into the shoes of former Vietnam veteran but will also be a director, as he had already done for the fourth film John Rambo in 2008. The latter film picked up in the world over 113 million dollars compared with a budget of only 50: a test of the long-lived success of the character. According to the rumor of the past months, the future film, Rambo has to contend against the Mexican cartel. Stallone, also responsible for the screenplay for the film, had described the new chapter as his version of No Country for Old Men.
