Batman v Superman - Hans Zimmer calls Junkie XL for the music, plus new photos from the set-cemetery

For the soundtrack to the sequel to The Man of Steel, Hans Zimmer has called for the collaboration of the composer Junkie XL: the latter in particular will deal with issues related to Batman to avoid that Zimmer does not happen again after it has already worked on Nolan's Dark Knight. Also, here are some new images stolen from the set with Ben Affleck in a scene at the cemetery.

 Here are some new and some new images from the set of Batman vs. Superman, the sequel to The Man of Steel directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in the role of the two super-heroes of the title.

The news is about the music. As is known, the soundtrack will be composed by Hans Zimmer, who has, however, now also called in to help fellow Junkie XL: Zimmer will take care of issues related to Superman and Junkie XL from those related to Batman. Zimmer had in fact been working on the music of Nolan's Batman trilogy, and in recent months had already admitted that compose the music of Superman vs. Batman would be very difficult for him. Difficult would have been in fact differentiate the work required for this film from that done previously; it would have been difficult not to be repeated. With the hiring of Junkie XL (aka Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Dawn of an Empire) for the sound universe of Batman has found an optimal solution.

For new pic, here are some stolen shots, unfortunately of low quality, Ben Affleck / Bruce Wayne in the cemetery of Smallville. The question that arises is why Bruce Wayne is in Yorkville, Illinois, the same place where his father Kent (Kevin Costner) is buried? In the cemetery there are also relatives of the Wayne family? Batman wants to pay homage to the father of Superman? Apparently, both Henry Cavill, Diane Lane (Ma Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Amy Adams (Lois Lane) were on set.

 

Waiting for more information on this, I remind you that Batman vs. Superman, also directed by Zack Snyder (already behind the camera of The Man of Steel), will be released on March 23, 2016. The film in the cast, as well as Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the role of the two super-heroes of the title, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg in the role of Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons in those butler Alfred. The cast also find various actors in the previous chapter The Man of Steel: Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. In addition, eyes open because according to the latest rumors the very first trailer could arrive in the coming weeks.
