Photo of Ryan Reynolds with the Mo-Cap suit for the test reel Deadpool.

The writer of Deadpool, Rhett Reese, shares a photo on behind the scenes of the test reel in which we see Ryan Reynolds in the suit used for motion capture (mo-cap) performance.

This week has done a lot to talk about himself Deadpool test footage, shot three years ago by Tim Miller, created by Blur Studios and starring Ryan Reynolds. The video was illegally distributed on the network immediately after the conclusion of the Comic-Con in San Diego.

In the video we see Deadpool sitting on an overpass while doing a design before launching into a machine, make some joke, fight against occupiers and cut off the head of one of them. The video should give you an idea of how it could be an R-rated movie dedicated to the Marvel character, the reel widely capture the character and Reynolds is perfect. One of the authors of the screenplay for the movie Deadpool, Rhett Reese, he shared on his twitter account this picture taken during the filming where we see Reynolds with the Mo-Cap suit, seated, in the opening scene of the video.

Rob Liefeld, creator of Deadpool, has revealed to the Daily SuperHero that:

"The costume digital Ryan Reynolds applied over the motion capture (mo-cap) performance was an approach that they wanted to explore. They had a relatively small window to create this short so they opted for the 'test' the look of Digital Deadpool costume for Ryan. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially considering Baraka-Deadpool in Wolverine: Origins. "

Liefeld explained that in these three years Tim and his team have made great strides, so that the filmmaker was one of the directors not mentioned in the credits, the scene before the end credits of Thor: The Dark World, or the sequence that introduces Malekith and shows the battle against his father Odin.

Among the concept art, storyboards and pre-visualization, Liefeld speiga that there are sequences made even more impressive by Miller, Rheese and Paul Wernick. I wonder if with all the buzz created around this video, Fox will begin again to work actively in the Deadpool movie.
