Daisy Ridley also confirmed in Star Wars 8 and 9? It seems so
Young actress virtually unknown, Daisy Ridley is ready to explode in the coming years. She is in fact one of the protagonists in the new chapter, the seventh, the Star Wars saga and, apparently, his character will be present and will grow in importance even in episodes 8 and 9 Here are the details.
Among the new faces of the saga will know that in Star Wars: Episode VII, less well known is that in absolute Daisy Ridley. That is a young English actress of no great popularity and seen only in a few episodes in the TV series Mr. Selfridge, Silent Witnesses, Toast of London, Youngers, Casualty on a horror short film titled Blue Season.
If today few remember his name, in the coming years Daisy Ridley certainly become one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood, and this thanks to the Star Wars saga. Apparently, in fact, the character of Ridley is not only one of the protagonists of Episode 7 but will appear and will have increasing importance in episodes 8 and 9 The news comes from Deadline, where we read that the actress will now be represented by 'UTA agency reported that:
Daisy Ridley is the female protagonist of Star Wars 7 directed by JJ Abrams and our task will be to accompany her for the second and the third film of the trilogy that will be directed by Rian Johnson (Looper). Ridley was selected for Star Wars: Episode VII after a hard cast on global dimensions.
Of course we expect a return of Daisy Ridley (as well as many of the other players) for subsequent episodes of the new trilogy, but this is the first semi-official confirmation of his involvement in chapter 8 and 9 But the real surprise, perhaps , comes from the second part of the statements of the agency, "the second and the third film of the trilogy that will be directed by Rian Johnson (Looper)." We knew that Johnson was behind the camera and that he would write Episode 8 Episode 9 but his salary as director of Episode 9 is a new news (though plausible). Will be true? We will let you know.
Meanwhile, we remind you once again that Star Wars: Episode VII hits theaters on December 18th 2015 As we said, the cast will find a group of "new faces" in the saga (John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow), most of the historical characters such as the aforementioned Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker (C1P8) and Carrie Fisher (Leia).
