Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. recruit Simon Kassianides

British actor Simon Kassianides (Quantum of Solace) has been hired by the producers of Agents of SHIELD for a major recurring role in the second season.

Few details when available. To Deadline, Kassianides interpret Bakshi, a confident man who is not afraid to get in the game when there's dirty work to be done.

ABC has set the return to TV of Agents of SHIELD to Sept. 23. Kassianides, previously seen in Nikita and Covert Affairs, reaches the other new cast members Lucy Lawless (Spartacus), Nick Blood (Him & Her) and Reed Diamond (Franklin & Bash).
