Falling Skies - Everything changes for the fourth time

Now in its fourth season, this series produced by Steven Spielberg tries to renew itself once again. Will it succeed? This is my comment to the pre-air (beware spoilers).

 The aliens dumber of the world, here is who are the "nasty" Espheni. For years, I try in every way to dominate the planet earth, and every time the humans manage to escape. Before attempting a tactic, then we look back, then tries again to fail miserably in some way. At the beginning of this fourth season groped to find them yet another tactic, which at first glance appears to be more effective.

Tom Mason, the protagonist of the series, is once again separated from his family after a sudden attack of the aliens. Humans are thus divided into four groups: children in a re-education camp, Tom and others in a ghetto, her daughter Lexi creates a religious community mysteriously immune to attacks, while his wife Anne is head of a group of rebels who refuge in the woods. Again Falling Skies seems to want to start again, as happened with the third and the second season, which detach themselves from the end of the previous year, expanding it in a new direction. It is not a bad thing, indeed; This has brought the series to evolve and improve its first season after a not so convincing. Last year, the series seemed to have taken the right path, with a more mature storyline and 2 falling skies characters are characterized in a manner
more convincing. What was the need of upsetting everything? Okay that something new must happen, that the plot has to innovate and expand, but in this first episode did not spend less than ten minutes that everything changes. It would perhaps have been better to let the story evolve gradually, introducing us to reach new tactic implemented by Espheni rather than sbattercela in the face after such a short time. Apart from this, the fourth season premiere of this convinces full. Lexi has something very special and we will see how his character will be brought forward during the season. In addition, the new plan of Espheni bring many changes in the tactics of the humans invaded, and things get very interesting soon (hopefully). Noah Wyle (ER) continues to give us a convincing performance albeit a little unwieldy, like the other members of the cast.

Falling Skies then is renewed once again for a fourth season that looks interesting.
