Scarlett Johansson will star in Ghost in the Shell!
The project to adapt Ghost in the Shell in live-action undergoes accelerated sudden: Scarlett Johansson has signed on for the lead role, and the film is taking shape more and more.
Ghost in the Shell, transposition into live-action eponymous manga by Masamune Shirow, has found its protagonist: Variety reports that Scarlett Johansson has officially signed on to play the movie, directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman).
The manga follows the story of Section 9, anti-terrorist organization that operates in the Japan of the future, specialized in solving crimes information and technology. At the head of the Section 9 is Motoko Kusanagi, an agent whose body was entirely replaced by artificial implants; also his colleagues of implant cybernetic, but still retain their original body. Beyond its spectacular component, the manga is characterized by deep existential reflections related to the relationship between humanity and technology, and to the merging of these two spheres.
It seems that the production of the film has not yet received the official go-ahead, but Dreamworks and Steven Spielberg, big fan of manga, are determined to proceed with the adaptation, because the presence of Scarlett Johansson should give the last push to the approval of the project. Paramount has an option to contribute to financing the film, fitting as co-producer.

A casting call for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, with Garfield and DeHaan in the cast?
It was unexpectedly issued a casting call for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, in which Andrew Garfield and Dane DeHaan appearing in the cast: what it means for the future of the franchise?
The situation film Spider-Man is getting more confused: two weeks ago we reported a rumor that the new movie in solitary dell'Arrampicamuri would arrive in 2017 and directed by Drew Goddard, and would have been the result of collaboration between Sony and Marvel Studios, which eventually could accommodate the superhero in their fictional universe. Now, however, the site Bill Beckman Casting shows the casting call for a film that is identified as The Amazing Spider-Man 3: The production seeks extras male and female of all ethnic groups, between 18 and 65, to shoot in Atlanta , Georgia. Moreover, in the cast includes both Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker / Spider-Man) and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn / Goblin), and this suggests that it is not a reboot, but a real sequel of the previous films. Possible that Sony has decided to retrace his steps?
For the moment it is not clear, but the timeliness of this casting call leads one to believe that the film is returned to its original release date, expected in 2016, and which remains separate from the Universe Marvel Cinematic. One wonders also what will be the fate of the film on the Sinister Six, that Sony had set just for 2016 (as The Amazing Spider-Man 3 was postponed to 2018). It is also possible, however, that Sony and Marvel Studios have decided to unite their narrative universes, so as to preserve the foundations laid by the first two films of Marc Webb.
Of course there is nothing official, are only speculations based on the casting call, but we will keep you updated.

The edition will be released on home video in the summer of 2015 and vice president of marketing and communications of Fox Home Entertainment, James Finn, has provided new juicy details:
The period of output has been confirmed.
As for the content of this new cut, Finn says that will not be present in the disk version of 'normal' and that the Rogue Cut will be a film distinguished with different extras. So do not be merely added to the 10 minutes of the sequence of the rescue of Rogue.
"No, distinct movie. Yours extra. Complementary to the Blu-Ray of DOFP but not repetitive. "
Most likely we will be in your hands something on the lines of Blade Runner Blade Runner and the final cut or Payback and the director's cut of Payback, where the new cut has a very different film.
The edition will be available in both Blu-ray and digital version. Responding to other Tweet Finn explained that the cut scenes of the film in the regular home video version will not be re-inserted into the Rogue Cut.
It also confirmed that it is the version that we saw at the cinema that the Rogue Cut were made by Bryan Singer.
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past we find one of the most stellar cast ever assembled, including Oscar winners and actors that have become the stars of the series A: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoe Kravitz, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry.
Written by Simon Kinberg, the film has brought in a dystopian world of tomorrow in which the US is now dominated by the Sentinels and mutants live in concentration camps: there an adult Kitty Pryde travels back in time and prevent a murder caused by Brotherhood that will trigger a catastrophic anti-mutant hysteria ...
